Privacy Policy

VOICES Charity needs to keep certain information about its employees, volunteers, service users, supporters and trustees to carry out its day to day operations; to help us provide a service to you and your family; to meet our objectives and to comply with legal obligations.

We only collect, process and store information about you or your family that you have willingly provided. We aim to be open about collecting this information and clear about what we will use it for. We will also ask for your information if you make donations or sign up to support us in other ways. This information will be used to manage your engagement with us, for processing your donations, telling you what the funds are being used for, informing you of related activities or campaigns that you may wish to support, providing you with a service and recording how you would like to hear from us.

We may also ask for data about your ethnicity, religion and sexuality. However, this data will be used for statistical purposes only and with anonymity. We do not use any automatic processing to determine the support we offer. You will be supported according to your needs and wishes. Some information you provide will be used to help us to improve our services.

Your information will not be shared with other people or agencies without your permission, unless required to do so by law, or where there is a risk to you or others. With your consent, we may share information with third parties in the process of managing your engagement with us, such as payment processors for donations and partners who manage sponsored events. We aim to undertake checks on these companies before we work with them, especially regarding how they manage the personal data they have access to.

If you change your mind after ‘opting in’ to receive our information, you can unsubscribe by emailing us at info@voicescharity.org
